What we would hire for.
Security engineering
People who have worked in small-business environments rather than enterprise SOCs — the constraints are different and the second kind of experience transfers badly.
Product engineering
Full-stack, comfortable across Next.js, Node and Postgres, and willing to work on the unglamorous half where evidence gets collected and exported.
Design
Someone who can make a compliance register legible to a person who did not configure it — the auditor is the second reader of every screen.
